How to Measure a Box

  1. Length (Boy): Measure the longer side of the box. This dimension is considered the “Length” for the box.

  2. Width (En): Measure the shorter side perpendicular to the length. If both sides are equal, the length and width will be the same.

  3. Height (Yükseklik): Measure from the base to the top edge of the box.

Measurement Formula:
The dimensions are usually expressed as:
Length × Width × Height

Box Folding Allowances:
When producing a box according to product size, folding allowances must also be calculated:

  • E-flute (micro) box folding allowance: 3 mm

  • B-flute (thin) box folding allowance: 4 mm

  • C-flute (large) box folding allowance: 5 mm

  • BE-flute (micro double-wall) folding allowance: 6 mm

  • BC-flute (double-wall) folding allowance: 8 mm
